4. Discovery: Finding the Right Pages
- What is discovery? This is the final stage where users submit search queries to the search engine. The search engine then uses its index and algorithms to find the most relevant pages based on the user’s query.
- How does it work? The search engine’s algorithms match the user’s query with the keywords and content stored in the index. The most relevant pages are then ranked and presented to the user in search results.
